How to Choose Belt Size

Use the information below to determine your Sole Survivor belt size. If you need assistance, we are happy to help. 314-932-1475 during regular business hours.

Method #1:
Measure a belt that you already own from the tip of the buckle to the hole most often used.
This measurement will tell you what size to order. If you are between sizes, order the larger size.

Method #2

Using a cloth tape measure, measure around your waist going thru the loops of your pants and pull it just to (not too tight, but not too loose). For Example: If the measurement is 36" then order a 36". If in between sizes, order the larger size.

Method #3 (not recommended)
Until recently, Sole Survivor suggested that our customers order a belt two inches larger than their pants size. In recent years, this method has become less reliable. One explanation is that pants manufacturers may have changed their sizing standards or the standards are not the same from one manufacturer to the next. This is also true of belt manufacturers. If your current belt is a 36", it is not necessarily true that a SOLE SURVIVOR 36" belt will fit the same. Use SOLE SURVIVOR method #1 or #2 to determine your belt size.
