How to Select the Correct Belt Size
It is highly recommended that you use the information and visual below to determine your Sole Survivor belt size. Please note that Sole Survivor Belts are made "TRUE to SIZE". Using the size printed on your old belt may not be reliable. This is due to the fact that for reasons beyond understanding, manufacturers seem to have different sizing methods.
Preferred Method #1:
Measure a belt that you already own from the tip of the buckle to the hole most often used.
This measurement will tell you what size to order. If you are between sizes, order the larger size.
Using a cloth tape measure, measure around your waist going thru the loops of your pants and pull it just to (not too tight, but not too loose). For Example: If the measurement is 36" then order a 36". If in between sizes, order the larger size.
Method #3 (not recommended)
In the past, Sole Survivor suggested that our customers order a belt two inches larger than their pants size. In recent years, this method has become less reliable. Please use SOLE SURVIVOR method #1 or #2 to determine your belt size.
