The 2 piece solid brass closure fitting is paired with a hand creased edge belt strap. Not confined by holes as with most belts, this cinch belt style has a range of fit of about 4". Use of the 2 piece harness fixture is unique to say the least. Its longer "tongue" piece pivots (swivels) to slip through the fixed brass piece on the left and comes back over itself to securely close the belt.
