Belt Sizing Help
Sole Survivor Belts are made "TRUE to SIZE". It is highly recommended that you use the information and visual below to determine your Sole Survivor belt size.
Measure a belt that you already own from the tip of the buckle to the hole most often used.
This measurement will tell you what size to order. If you are between sizes, order the larger size.
Using a cloth tape measure, measure around your waist going thru the loops of your pants and pull it just to (not too tight, but not too loose). For Example: If the measurement is 36" then order a 36". If in between sizes, order the larger size.
Method #3 (not recommended)
In the past, Sole Survivor suggested that our customers order a belt two inches larger than their pants size. In recent years, this method has become less reliable. If your current belt is a 36", it is not necessarily true that a SOLE SURVIVOR 36" belt will fit the same. Use SOLE SURVIVOR method #1 or #2 to determine your belt size.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO HELP YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER FOR A BELT SIZED between 48" and 60"
Sole Survivor will communicate with you directly before making your belt and here is why...
Due to the natural shape of the hides, the number of straps that can be cut to fit these sizes is very limited. For that reason we want to be sure that you get the exact size needed and that we make the best possible use out of each and every hide of leather.
